I'm getting a little tired of people not wanting to race. I have tryed 3 different times to run people. They just look at me . All of these cars didn't want to run. zo6, 03' cobra, 97 cobra. whats the deal? Think it's my location out here in Frisco/Mckinney? Last race I had was a Maxima on 121 trying to pass and cut me off.

:) I don't know if you were poking fun, but you could be right. Or the people were too old. I'm not a big track fan. What area are you around bobby?

For once, I wasn't. They probably didn't know what a Lightning is.

How can you own a Lightening and not be a fan of the track? Bring it out and you'll get nothing but races. :D I've gotten wwaaayyyyyyyyyy too many tickets to even consider going on the street. :(

i used to go to a drag strip growing up to spectacte. i just think it's boring. i hear though once you try it you are hooked. I might try it. my tires are almost gone though (still on f1's ). still have enough for the street.

once you try racing at the track, you'll be hooked... it's a different thing than street racing totally...

don't get me wrong, I understand the attraction to street racing, but penalties are getting tougher and there are just too many unknown variables... :(

also, at the track, there are no excuses... the timeslips don't lie! :D

cool. maybe I'll haul my grill up there and cook some burgers for you guys or something, if dfwstangs has gatherings out there. My work schedule sucks though. 3pm - 11pm Wedneday,Thursday, Sunday. 11pm - 7am Friday, Saturday.

Oh and. this is the the 4th time to be denyed a race today. Coming from 121 and Preston, caught a light with a real nice ws6. Guy wouldn't run me! wtf?

I like the track... much less stress and worry, and still plenty of adrenaline! :D

you guys ever hear of this guy? I made the smart mistake of replying to the post with "depending on how much". Never have raced for money. Never liked the idea of it. I think i was thinking about rent at the time.
