Wanted: 6x8 speakers...

Hey guys, I am looking for 4(four) 6x8 speakers. Looking for some decent quality speakers. If you have just 2, please let me know.

That's the stock size of rear speakers for 87-93 hatchbacks, and coupe's too I think. If you don't find any on here, try calling some Best Buy's and buying some open box items. That's what I did and got like 50% off the speakers and purchased the warranty.:)

When I went looking for 6 x 8's I was told by the dude at fry's thtat no one made em, and the companies that did make 6x8's were actually selling a 5x7 in a 6x8 frame.

Are you sure a 6x9 won't fit?

they are 5x7/6x8's. same thing. different companys advertise them in different ways. my pioneers said 6x8, and my infinitys say 5x7.

6x9's will NOT fit. 6x9's are too big for most cars, thats why they make speaker boxes for them.

go ebay. i bought my infinity kappas for about 90 bucks on there. 300 watt peak power 100 watt RMS. they normally cost well over 100 dollars. sound great. i have nothing but good things to say about infinity.
