Amplifier Draw

Can one of you guys that has a lot of car audio knowledge explain amplifier draw to me. I heard the kicker 700.5 amp has 90 A draw. How fast does it draw 90 A. I dunno if this is even correct. But I've see amps say like 12.7 Volts and stuff. How will a 120 amp alternator on a 93 gt hold up, I don't want charging problems. Thanks
