HELP!!! Mach 460 amp install ???'ssss

i have a 2000 gt with the factory mach 460 head unit... trying to hook up an amp for my subs... i have a converter,,, but is there anything else that i need and what different do i have to do from a regular head unit install???

Wire in the converter to the wires that go the bottom of the speaker enclosure in the trunk. I think mine were red/black- red/black. You will need to find a signal to turn on the amp, usually blue/white wire on aftermarket radios. On factory you can use a volt meter to find a wire on the back of the radio that provides 12 volts when the radio is on or just connect to a wire that switches on with the ignition on.
