I am starting to get a little beer belly.:( What do yall do to work your abs? I usually do crunches, but I am getting old(27) and my back is going south.

do hanging leg raises. if you go to a gym, they will have a setup for you to do them without any back pain. AND, they will get your stomach burning if you do them slowly and make sure you have good form and contraction

To lose Beer gut you need to diet and cardio and some abs (other muscle groups would be nice as well).
You cannot spot treat areas for fat loss.

Exactly - by doing crunches you are only building muscle under the fat... to lose the beer gut obviously you have to cut your intake of beer and up your cardio to burn the cals and lose the flab.

I dont really drink alot of beer(maybe 2-3 a week). It is mostly that I eat alot of junk food. I am 6"2", 240lbs, I am thinking I should be at about 225lbs. I played sports al through high school, I guess it's just old age.:)
