Hey has anyone tried Dynomat products. I'm specifially interested in sealing up the door panels and the rear speakers. I have a convertible and there is nothing behind the rear speakers except metal! They have a spray product, wondered if anyone has tried it and if its worth the money.
Let me know
Thanks
Marc
I have sold Dynamat for many years and I have about 100 lbs in my car. The Dynamat Extreme is their lightest/most effective product and one layer works great but the more you use, the better it works. Unlike cheap alternatives, Dynamat is not a roofing material.

How well does the Dynomat Spray work?? I have a 93 convertible and I wanna seal up the sound on the rear speakers. If you take off the rear side panels (the hide the convertible top and the rear speakers mount on them) there is nothing put the tops hydrolic pumps, i wanna somehow seal this for good sound. My 10 sounds good put i'd like more from my mids.
Foam Baffles would do a better job of sealing them up. $19pr

Thanks for your help, I'll have to give dynamat a shot down the road. I'd love to do all the doors and the back area, help decrease some noise from it being a convertible.

I had the back wall of my Ranger Done and It sounded great after I got It done. I had it done at EW's Store In Bedford, The stuff is worth the money.

How much did it cost you???
EW with installation how much would it be ballpark for a 93 convertible.
I recommend that you install the Dynamat yourself if you want to save some money. A monkey can install it. If we install it covering EVERYTHING, approx $700-800 parts and labor. If you install it, approx $350-450.

Dynamat is repackaged stuff from the aircraft industry. I am in the process of getting an account with aviall so I can pick some up, supposedly a lot cheaper.
Which line? Dynamat has many different products.

There are several differnet sound deadener/insulations to choose from. When my account is finalized I will check out, and post the info here. I learned about this from a guy at another forum. He made his car better insulated from noise and heat and saved some weight also.

I did thesame thing to my 68, added a lil weight, but not as much as dynamat. Blocks out alot of road noise, but doesnt do much for heat. I forget what its called, but if I can look around for the recipt, I can find out.

Bastards never emailed me back, guess they figured out I wasn't a legitimate business.
