Mach 460 cd player

The other day my mach 460 cd player just shorted out when i tried to eject a cd. I checked all the fuses but none are blown. THe radio still works but the cd player which is a seperate unit is off. Anyone know what it might be?

how old is the car...if its still under warranty just take it up to the dealership

its a 98 but i dont have a warranty and dont really care to pay for high priced labor at dealership.
