Do fat burners w/o Ephedra really work?

I was doing some research on the net and was searching for Hydroxycut vs Thermo Dynamx and found some interesting reads. I came across a forum where they discussed some of this back and forth and a few people made the comment that fat burners w/o Ephedra don't really work...that they're a crock of ####. Anyone here used a fat burner with and without Ephedra? Comments on the products?

They might work but not AS fast as with ephedra.

I'm using Xenadrine EFX (w/o E) and something is happening. I don't know if it's the dietary lifestyle change+working out+drinking lots o' water+trying not to eat past 7pm+the pills or just the former by itself. But I started on May 12 at 202lbs and now I'm at 191lbs definitely more defined. Stomach is getting like "WHOA"!!!! It's slow but, it's good

I'm taking the Stacker 3, plenty of Ephederine in it. and WHOOOOOOOOO! I'm amped all fucking day.

I couldn't see taking any kind of, "fat burner" that didn't have it
