I think all supplements 'cept Protein are wastes of money.

What do you guys think? Steroids work but they have weird side effects.

Fat burners can be substituted for eating right, and excercise.

I mean why do we trust these companies so much?

I don't it's trust per se, but the promise of magical, east to get gains. Hey, what's $50 a month if I don't have to work as hard? That is the bread and butter of the supplement industry.

There is nothing magical in supplements that you can't get through a good diet and hard work.

I take protein because there is no way I can eat more, but I want to keep my protein intake up over 200 grams a day. I take a multi-vitamin everyday as insurance.

It's also the bread and butter of the mag industry. If they didn't have the supplement advertisers, the price for a Flex Subscription would probably be $100 a year. I bet the majority of magazines out there don't make money off of subscriptions. Just the mailing cost/printing alone would eat up what most people pay for a subscription.

I think it all boils down to what you put into it at the gym... you can take all the shit you want, but if you don't get in there and push, you aren't gonna go anywhere.

I agree on eating right and exercising, but I think multi-vitamins and creatine should be added to your "list" oh, and water and sleep. :D

Vitamins and Protein are good supplements

Sleep, Actually hitting the Gym, and Eating right are the 3 main key components IMO

Ppl use fatburners bc they are either to lazy to eat right or enjoy food to much that they rather eat what they want and take some magical pill then to eat for sustainment and nutrition only. To many ppl eat food bc it tastes good or they think they want to... when really you should only eat out of necessity.

As far as steroids or anything else goes... to each their own I guess

I agree with this whole thread where alot of people go wrong is they try to get a supplement for every aspect of weightlifting.( trying to cut corners) I think alot of people would be surprised at the amount of change that would take place in there body if they only got the right amount of sleep, oh and if they actually busted their ass in the weight room once in a while. It seems like every time I go to the gym now the guys talk more than the women do. Shit you would think it is social hour or something while they are in there:rolleyes: :D
