I was back up to 195 yesterday. I'm still leaning out so I would have expected to weigh a little less, but strength hasn't taken a dip so I guess I'm doing it "right" this time.

Since beginning football in April...All my clothes fit much more looser and I can see where I lost weight from..but I weighed in today at the doctor's office and it said I gained 4 lbs.

The woman side of me keeps saying..."OH MY GAWD"!

But the football side of me counters with "HELL YEAH! MORE WEIGHT TO THROW AROUND"!

Muscle weighs more than fat, you know this. You'll be a bruiser in no time.;)

On a side note, you have a woman side?

I know, I know...but good lord...4lbs is a lot. I just expected to have lost a few pounds with muscles gains included in that...not the scale going in the other direction. :p Its happened before. Eventually the weigh comes off the longer I stick to my program.

And what do you mean I dont have a woman side? Front, back, top to bottom...Im all sides woman. :D

What weighs more, a pound of muscle, or a pound of fat?

they're the same, but it hurts a lot more if you pound someone with muscle, rather than fat:D

I have to much leg muscles from jumping/skateboarding, trying to work on upper body, its working, but I dont have a work out regime. I'm the same weight I was 4 months ago, but less fat and more muscle.

They'll both weigh a pound, but the muslce will take up alot less space.:p

Sorry not to clarify Karen, muscle is more dense than fat.;) 4 lbs may seem like alot, but I'd imagine that alot of it is just retained water held in your new-found muscles, thus your weight coming back down as your body adjusts to the new program.

Don't worry, Aaron. We are on the same wavelength. I knew what you meant. ;) I think its just PMS causing the weight retention...no way in the world my body would actually let go of fat. :p

No, no I don't. Just because I still have a little more work to do before I'm completely happy with my body doesn't give anyone the right to assume...
