I think the difference is I wouldn't buy anything from ANY company on the internet selling satellite hacking supplies. They WILL get raided, and they WILL curl up like a bitch and give the sales info to Dtv to save there own ass. DTV will then sue <B>you</B>. I would only buy a programmer in person, with cash.
