View Full Version : Quick Blue Lude in N. Fort Worth

There is a slammed blue lude with a turbo in N. Fort Worth. He was toying around with me. I heard the blow off, but didn't want to run on the surface street, stop light to stop light. From 60-120, I only pulled him back to my rear bumper. He is quick and would beat most stock LS1 (whatever that means) and lightly modded GTs.
He wouldn't stop and talk.
That's it, I almost got beat by a lude. Time to get the spray.

I agree, Texas Devil Dog must be able to beatdown alll the LS1's around the Beach St. area! Please man, give me a break, you have only raced 2 or three then. Before I sold my Cobra, it would have crushed your car, and I know there were LS1's in my area I would have, and did, lose to. And to beat my car you have needed to be pushing about 560 horses, mine made 550HP. Saying "ALL" about any cars is always gonna get you in trouble, there are ALWAYS cars that can beat you! PM 4.6 CObra on the board, he lives in our area, has a white Z28, I know he can take out your car, no doubt. Or HOOTER 306, the list goes on. I am not dogging your car, just want to know wheere you find all these slow LS1's at????? I can prove your theory wrong though, don't be afraid to lose, it happens to everyone, there is nothing wrong with it.

Please give me a break. Take a course in critical reading.
Funny thing is that it would beat all the LS1s [that] I beat around here.

Well then, go back and read where I said you must have raced only 2 or 3 LS1's then. Why are some mustang owners afraid of the LS1???? They actually beat like 2 bone stock LS1's in their modded up Ford's and think all of them are slow, bad misconception. No biggie man I have nothing against you.

Nope, your assumption is wrong. I have raced more LS1s than that, seeing how I am racing in the Muscle Car Club Challenges and Denton's Thursday night Horse Power Store races.

I can't help that most people's driving skill amounts to stand on the loud peddle.
Don't hate me, hate the game.
BTW, I never said I claimed victories, only that I raced them. You need critical reading too.

If you don't like the game, don't play. Denton has heads up Thursday night, for people that are all power and no skill.

Wow you said you can beat an LS1 in a bracket race, you stud you, you have tree killing abilities! I am sorry but bracket racing is kind of gay IN MY OPINION. And I do hate that game, it proves nothing other than your car is consistent, and more tahn likely consistently slow, that's why theyy have bracket races, for the slow cars.

If you were THAT GOOD of a driver you can cut a killer tree, drive perfect and beat down a faster car than yours, but why would you want to do that?

Comeon, my old Honda ran 17.0s consistently. It's not that hard of an acquired "skill". Especially in a car that can't spin it's tires.
Hell, you're not even moving the steering wheel. lol

Wow, I never said anything about beating people in bracket racing, nor did I claim my car is soooooo fast. This must have struck a cord with you. Do you have something to prove, to yourself?

Running consistent with a five speed is in a Mustang is harder than in a Honda. Granted, it is more difficult to be consistent in a faster car than a slower car. Turning the wheel is much more fun think. I had a great time out at Motorsport Ranch road racing.

Everyone take it easy. Give the guy credit, he is great at bracket racing. It takes skills to cut a good light and learn your car good enough to win. It may not be the sport I enjoy or what you enjoy. Mine is street racing, or heads up racing. (Not bracket racing for me). They are two different sports. I perfer to race faster man or woman wins. I have raced Texasdevildog in my ls1, on the street and the out come was good for me. Now at the track he could tree my ass. I would still run him down. (HaHa)

No man catch a clue, but no 01 Cobra with 400HP or less will out run it that's for sure! But my car is gone now, so no need to argue. Aren't u the guy that Pattymelt is going to beat down when or if he ever gets his junk running?

Not arguing.. just asking.. LOL.
I am the guy who is going to do the beating down, yes. IF his car is ever running again that is. When he doesn't call me to find out why his own car won't start..then I will believe his car will run again..
