I have been wanting to change out the stereo in my 97 Cobra to something more up to date with cd player in the stereo head unit. Can a new stereo be installed still using all the original amps, speaker's and wiring? and if so who do you recomend for the install?
Thanks,
Andre

Yes it is fairly simple to install an aftermarket radio into the 460 system. There are adapters just for this, any shop worth going to will have them. If you pay a shop to do the install, don't pay anymore than $60, as most shops charge $45 for a normal install where the adapters are not needed. Also make sure they have a life time warranty on the install.

Talk to Eric, he posts here as EW. He is the only one besides myself that I would let work on my audio/alarm.
