I went in for a shake after my workout and was looking at the Cell-Tech they had and the guy was like if you're interested, I'll give you 15% off... I look at it and they wanted 49.99 for the huge bucket... I was like I'll give you $40 and he was like no I cant do that... I was like oh comon... its only 20%... thats like 3 bucks off what you said you'd give me... he busts out a calculater and goes about doing some math or something then says ok ok I do 20%... then I pull out my CC and he's like you dont have cash? i'm like no... is that a problem? he's like yeah I need cash... I was like why? you have a machine right there and looks to be working fine... then he took it and ran it and it worked... They did that same thing with my Protein Shakes too a few months ago... guess the posted prices must just be insane if they're giving 20% discounts and still making money

He looked like the owner though... a 40ish Arab... I thought it was kinda fishy myself... Guess he figured a "kid" like me would be paying cash

I guess giving it at the discount, he was probably looking at his evaporating profit margin because you paid with a CC (and the fee that goes along with accepting the CC!).
