Man. After a few weeks, I finally got certified last Sunday. That test is a BIATCH! Its 100 questions, multiple choice covering 11 sections of mind numbing questions.
Then, once you pass that, you get a case study. you have 24 hours to complete that. Another pain in the ass.
But, $480 bux and 4 weeks later, I'm finally a National Association of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer.

Not sure. Prolly like 25 / hour. That at least half what 24 hour fitness is charging. And with me, you wont have to purchase a large block of hours.
Personally, Im just ready to take the time to rewrite my own plan. I learned soo much from this course. Very indepth.

Man, I paid for that course, and keep paying for extensions to take the online test for NASM. I got my certs through 24 Hour (joke, unless you don't know anything beforehand) and the good one, BSMI-PFIT (Baylor Sports & Medicine Institute). I learned more in one night of class at Baylor, than I did the whole week of 24 Hr's class. Anyways, that's bad ass that you passed!! Good job! One of these days, I'll actually take the damn test, and add that to my certs. Although, I don't know how much longer I'll be a Personal Trainer!! Good luck!!
Oh and BTW, charge that $25/session, until you get better, and a big clientelle built up..... then you can raise your price to what most people charge. I've seen most people charge anywhere from $35/hr, to $250/hr. So, figure out what you're worth, once you play in the sand box for a while!

do you have any sample questions? Maybe ones you thought were tough?

Let me think about that. There were a LOT that were barely covered at all in the books.
I'll post up a couple later tonite or tomorrow.
