Bass question

I have a 2000 gt with the stock mach 460 , and all of the sudden my bass doesnt work anymore, it used to happen the same a while ago but i will just play with bass "volume", and it will star working again , but now i dont know whats wrong, any ideas of how to fix it?:( ,thanks

1 good head unit
2 new front speakers
2 new rear speakers
2 300rms subwoofers
1 250ish watt rms 4 channel
1 800 watt rms amplifier
75 feet of various wires

simple solutions, are often the least thought of.
