Do you need a working horn to pass inspection?

I recently bought an 87 GT and in order to get it registered I have to get it reinspected even though the current inspection sticker is good through Nov 05. It's because it was last registered in Hunt county which isn't an emisions county. So I have to produce the VIR( Vehicle Inspection Report ) to prove in passed emissions before I can register it. Which is bullcrap. Anyway, do you need a working horn to pass inspection, because it currently does not work. I've already gone through the BS of putting a stock h-pipe back on.

I tried hving the inspection place pull up the VIR from my current sticker, but it came up blank. It had that it was an 87 GT Mustang and all other fields were blank. So I guess that means it was gotten under less than legal means. Which I don't care about, but it would of made life easier to get the damn thing registered.

You'll need to get inspected in denton county if that is where you live and the car is driven. You cannot just go to a non-emmisions county for an inspection. And a horn is a safety Item, you have to have it on any year car, in any county.
Just wire up a chessy horn and a dash button if you have to.

You are not free whose liberty is won by the rigour of other, more righteous souls. Your are merely protected. Your freedom is parasitic, you suck the honourable man dry and offer nothing in return. You who have enjoyed freedom, who have done nothing to earn it, your time has come. This time you will stand alone and fight for yourselves. Now you will pay for your freedom in the currency of honest toil and human blood."
