I have a pool heater that is not functional.
This heater may be able to be repaired or may be used for parts. It was installed in brand new 2004 and worked great until about 6 mos ago. It is a high end heater to the tune of about $3000 or more as a new unit. It is a 400,000 btu unit so it is plenty large for a big pool, and is natural gas firing.
This year, it started having problems firing up. There is a lot of corrosion inside and the pool service people preferred to replace the entire heater than to try repair it. It needed an ignitor and some other items.
